About sonja.fogelholm

Sonja Fogelholm was born 22 years ago in the magical snowy land of Santa Claus and Angry Birds – Finland. From early age she had a passion for writing fiction. After graduating from high school in 2009, she got into the journalism program in the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. She got the taste of being a real reporter when she was the editor-in-chief of the school magazine, and a summer journalist for the small countryside paper Sipoon Sanomat. Always sick with travel fever, she just had to go on exchange. Hogeschool Utrecht became option number one because of the course EC&EJ; even more traveling according to the course content. The reporting trip that was part of the course was a great opportunity for Sonja to go to Lisbon and meet her Portuguese friend after six years. Best thing about the 5 months of awesomeness in Utrecht was meeting new friends. Classmates made the Erasmus experience legendary with many nights of partying, cooking, traveling and –yes – studying together. In the future Sonja hopes to get an inspiring job with writing and travel to Australia, drive through the route 66 and dance salsa in Cuba. To start with.
