Fezine (37) – Cue Newspaper saleswoman @ entrance Village Green
“It’s my first year at the Festival but guess what: yesterday I was the top Cue Newspaper seller! I sold like 1500 editions. I’m very proud of it, and I will never forget it. My secret is to smile. Smile all day! Cue for you, not for me!”
Maria Sekeshi – Toilet Lady @ Village Green
“Wow! A few days ago I spotted a famous tv-star from South Africa. For years I saw him on television, but now in real life. I talked to him, and we had a really good laugh. That’s the real fun of this Festival. In the toilets I talk to very different people, from many different countries. I’m laughing all day long!”
Florence (68) – Sells Fudge @ Somerset Street
“Seriously, how is it possible? I have never seen something like this before: that men with all the eggs on top of a hat! That hat is sooo high, how does he manage to keep it on his head the whole day? And his smile, never seen such a smile before. Crazy stuff, hahaha!”
Xolani Nyathi (25) – Car Guard @ High Street
“It’s pure magic. Just a few meters from here, at the main square by the Cathedral, is a floating head. He give’s you answers on all the questions you can think of. Never seen something like that before, in my life. Magic, it’s magic.”
