In trance at Sound Kiln
Sound Kiln is a three day outdoor music festival, held during the National Arts Festival at Three Chimney’s Farm. At this spot there used to be an old brick factory, but now it is transformed into the most stunning scene for a trance-party. Lots of Arts Festival visitors and Grahamstown students attend this party and therefore Cueblog couldn’t stay away! We took a look at the place and ended up partying all night.
It is a festival with electric music, trance, drum ‘n base and electric house. There is an alternative crowd and the vibe is chilled out. There are some campfires, a small stage with good speakers, the moon and the stars, and everyone seems to love each other.
The only thing is that the organisation should provide more and cleaner toilets… we have only one word for the loo: grose…
