Lunchtime #8: The Mini Doughnut
The vendors of Fiddler’s Green successfully moved to Church Square and Hill Street. In the centre of all the stalls there are some food stands. One of those is The Mini Doughnut. CueBlog reporter Paul takes the dip.
I ordered my 20 Rand portion and observed how doughnuts are prepared. The doughnuts ended up in a frying pan and where garnished with chocolate, caramel and rainbow sprinkles afterwards. Result: a visual party on your plate.
Not only the visuals were good, the sweet taste of the fresh doughnuts was perfect! Knowledge and sweetness combined in one lunch: 4 stars!
