Red wine warms bellies as Fest weekend awakens
As Friday night drew to an early close for some CueBlog-ers, everyone seemed to go their separate ways!
After a divine bacon and chilli fettuccini at the Long Table in High Street, I met up with Future Journalists Project trainer Karen Williams for a post-dinner glass of red wine and carrot cake at 137 High Street.
One glass of wine soon included the entire bottle of Ingwe Merlot and before we knew it Karen and I began impersonating French wine connoisseurs.
The late night rain shower ensured that no one needed much rocking after some good food and drink!
